We have long struggled to understand racism, to define it on a rational level. After centuries of racism, it is time to build something different. We want to go deeper with you and explore how we can find other ways to transform harmful power dynamics.
The fight against racism deserves a positive approach, an intention that aspires to real cultural change. Instead of focusing on fighting racism, our focus is on building a culture where we recognize privilege and oppression and dare to correct our fellow human beings, where we dare to support one another regardless of background or skin color.
Many ancient wisdoms from different cultures as well as recent research in neuroscience, teach us that an emotional- and body centred approach to oppression is necessary. During these workshops we will experiment with awareness and transformation of harmful power dynamics, offering you tools to regulate your own emotions and body at any moment, and to re-center when you are feeling overwhelmed.
The Resilience Movement advocates the development of solutions that all members of society can contribute to and learn from. When people grow together, experience being connected and support each other, there is no longer a reasonf or aggression and racism towards the “other”.
The “dynamics” we are exploring have a great unconscious impact on our behaviour. The more we become aware of our individual and group patterns and our habits in interaction, the more we can influence and choose the direction in which we move together.
